Larry Mason has been coaching racecar drivers since 1986. These drivers have gone on to numerous championships in the California Sports Car Club region of the SCCA including ITA, ITB, and Sports 2000. In 2004, Mason's student Scott Rarick won the prestigious SCCA National Championship Runoffs in Formula Ford at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Mason teaches at professional schools such as Danny McKeever's Fast Lane Racing School and Advanced Driving Dynamics.

The LMR Driver Development program is one-on-one driver coaching for racecar drivers looking to lower their lap times and improve their concentration, focus, physical preparation, racing strategy and tactics.

Mason also teaches street driving safety and survival tactics to groups and/or individuals. These classes help drivers become safer and more confident in everyday and accident avoidance situations. Mason teaches vehicle dynamics in everyday language using real-world examples to convey his message.

Mason is also the chief driving instructor in the Team LMR ABS Challenge. This course teaches participants how to safely use ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) under emergency and evasive driving conditions. The program utilizes both classroom and driving sessions and demonstrates what the limitations/capabilities of Anti-lock Braking Systems are.
