Indianapolis, IN - Larry Mason earned a second place award in the annual American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association (AARWBA) journalism contest. Mason’s award came in the Magazine Event Report category for his “Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Review” as published in the May 2011 issue of Cal Club News magazine (part of SoPac News magazine). This is his seventh national writing award.
The annual AARWBA contest also has category winners in feature writing, broadcasting, and more. The award winners were announced at the annual Indy 500 AARWBA breakfast on May 27, 2012.
